Global Leaders Experience

Never been abroad? Thinking about an international career but don't know where to start? Look no further than the Global Leaders Experience! 

The Global Leaders Experience is a short, international learning opportunity that supports you to develop crucial skills for your personal and professional development. Over the duration of a week, you will travel to a city (or cities!) abroad to immerse yourself in the local culture and presented with real-world topics to explore with your fellow students, professionals and organisations from different backgrounds. 

Through this scheme you can expect to build confidence, intercultural communication, resilience, critical thinking and teamwork. Skills that are all essential for your future careers, or even just helping you explore what kind of sector you would like to work in. Each programme has it's own mix of themes so is perfect for exploring topics related to your degree, or something completely new! No prior knowledge or experience is needed to take part.

The Global Leaders Experience is primarily open to students who meet the widening participation criteria, with limited spaces also available for international students.
