We welcome employers offering paid, part-time employment, in the form of internships and 'casual' roles both during term time and during vacation periods. This fair is also open to registered charities looking to promote volunteering roles. 

A note on volunteering roles: We recognise that volunteering roles can play a valuable part in our students' career journeys, providing vital initial experience, and in some cases contributing to relevant degree modules.

In order to ensure the best experiences for our students, we ask that any volunteering roles promoted at this fair should be using undergraduate-level skills appropriately. Some examples of the types of volunteering roles we are looking for could be:

• Marketing Support Intern

• Communications Intern

• Customer Support Agent

• Project Coordinator

Please note that whilst we welcome a variety of companies at this fair, it is not suitable for:

• teaching agencies seeking to engage with our PGCE students

• those looking to recruit nursing students

• those offering chargeable internships

• companies offering paid-for services, with the exception of postgraduate courses

Exhibitor rates

Standard rate: £245 + VAT
(applies to most companies unless a special rate is listed below)

Agency rate: £355 + VAT
(for all recruitment agencies and job portals)

Charity rate: £60 + VAT
(all registered charities)

Please note

• All booking forms will be reviewed by the Student Employment Team to ensure that this fair is the best fit for your organisation. If your booking is approved, you will receive a confirmation email from My Career Zone. In some circumstances, the Team may get in touch to signpost you towards other events/University services which may work better for you.
• Employer registration will close on Tuesday 8 September 2026, or earlier if full. 
• Due to high demand for this event, we recommend submitting your booking form promptly.

What's included

• A stand space (2.5m?width x?2m?depth approx.) - only suitable for slim (roll-up) banner stands. Please be aware if you bring a larger stand, we cannot guarantee that you will be able to display it.
• One table (1.5m width x?0.55m?depth x?0.74m height) and two chairs.
• WIFI access.
• An electrical point.
• Lunch for two exhibitors.*
• Tea, coffee, water and importantly, biscuits, are available to exhibitors throughout the day.
• One parking space depending on availability.

*Please note that due to space restrictions we can only allow a maximum of 2 representatives per stand.

Car parking: On the day of the fair, one parking permit will be provided per exhibiting company. Details of where to park will be included in our pre-fair communications, sent nearer the time of the fair taking place.

Payment information

• You will be invoiced upfront before the fair date.
• Please make sure that accurate and complete invoicing details are provided in a timely fashion when requested. A processing fee of up to £100 may be applied if the information requested is not supplied.
• Please note that we cannot accept payment by credit card.

We understand that life (and business!) isn't always predictable. However please be aware that if you cancel your booking after Tuesday 8 September 2026, this may result in the full fair charge being levied. Bookings made after this date may also be fully payable if cancelled. Please make any cancellations in writing to studentemployment@exeter.ac.uk
